Challenge
Fashion Magazine is Canada's trusted authority on fashion, beauty, and culture. I was entrusted with assisting on a redesign of the magazine, as well as continued stewardship and elevation of those standards, later as Art Director of the publication. Fashion required a brand and editorial presence that showcased strong women's voices while showcasing both Canadian and International fashion trends.
Action
Researched, brainstormed and strategized branding and style guides for fashion and style publications, both domestic and international. Maintained relationships, screened portfolios, and created a roster of contributing talent, from photographers (product, beauty, fashion), to illustrators, and stock agencies. Managed photographic and digital archives. Worked with editors and publishers on newsstand covers as well as alongside a talented editorial staff on monthly issue execution.

Result
